It is with great joy that I welcome you to the 蜜桃社区 community. At Oxy, we are committed to fostering an environment in which you can grow intellectually and interpersonally. We are also committed to ensuring that our community is safe and healthy.

As an 蜜桃社区 student, you have both rights and responsibilities that come with being a part of this community.  We expect all of our students to be productive members of the college and to represent 蜜桃社区well, even when away from campus. Safety is a shared responsibility. Many of the expectations set forth herein have been established to maintain a safe and healthy community for everyone.

In the 蜜桃社区Student Handbook, you will find the most important policies to you as a student.  Please read them carefully.  You are responsible for knowing these policies so that you are clear on what we expect of all students regarding academics, housing, alcohol, sexual respect, technology usage, and every facet of campus life.

If you have questions about any portion of the Handbook, please contact me and I鈥檒l be happy to meet with you.

The staff and faculty at Occidental are here to support and encourage you, challenge you to grow, and to help you achieve in all areas of life.  I hope you鈥檒l partner with me to have an outstanding year!

Warmly,

Vivian Garay Santiago

Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students
